"FR"
SERIES

The Fr series, forming filling
machines, count on several models for different scopes/target
, disegn to fulfill several, different production needs
like product dimensions and speed: trays, box with lid
and display box. Starting from a flat cardboard, they
can handle both corrugated cardboard and simple paperboard.
the flat cardboard is picked from the magazine and placed
on a bucket chain conveyor; the box is shaped in the tray
forming unit: the front flap is kept open; the pre-stacked
products are inserted into the box through its open side.
The front insertion of the product allows the use of a
container (a tray or a box) whose dimensions are equal
to those of the product to be bundled. Accuracy in packaging
results is guaranteed even with delicate products; if
the box has already been shaped, the insertion of the
products is made by means of a pick & place unit; lid
is closed - either by tucking it in or by gluing it -
at next station. The FRB and FRT machines run step-by-step,
making use of different stations, whose number varies
according to the customer’s requests. This allow to have
a wide range of functions is available: product insertion,
literature (or other eventual items) insertion, visual
control of the whole product flow, ink-jet printing, tuck-in
or hot-melt closure.

One of the most common application
for products on shelf are related to products in tray,
box or wrap-around (see pictures). The models FRT for
tray, FRB for box and FRW for wrap-around fulfils several
different applications through a wide range of products
like: cartons, bottles, cans, flow pack, sticks, blisters.
FR machine can be combined with other process like stretch
banding or shrink wrapping. Thanks to its compact design
it is an ideal unit to be integrated in a brand new or
an existing production line. The output of the FR series
machine, is up to 40 box or tray per minute. The FR series
is part of the Multipack production range from 10 years
, counts over than 50 units installed Worldwide.
