Wrap Around Former
FRW
The FRW former machines can handle various
packages starting from a flat cardboard, they both corrugated
cardboard and simple paperboard.
FEATURES
The machines are adapted to the features of
the product to be packaged: this can range from any kind of vials,
jars, cartons, bottles, flow-pack, blisters, ecc..
The modular structure allows for a wide range
of formats and speeds.
Forming cycle
a) the flat cardboard is taken from the magazine
and placed in the U-shape bucket with thw lateral side open, on
the conveyor;
b) the pre-stacked product is arranged into single layers and
inserted sideways into the box. The insertion of the product from
this side enables the use of a container whose dimensions are
equal to those of the product to be bundled. Accuracy in packaging
results is guaranteed even with delicate products;
c) the
box can even be presented partially erected, the insertion of
the products is made
by means of a pick & place unit;
d) at next station the top lid is closed
by gluing it.
The FRW machines run step-by-step, making
use of different stations, whose number varies according to the
customer’s requests.
A wide range of functions is available: product
insertion, leaflet (or other eventual items)
insertion, visual
checks of the whole product flow, ink-jet printing, hot-melt or tape closure.
Different
types of products and collations can be handled with FRW.
The designing
solutions are always tailored to the customer’s demands.
